As an Executive Manager with significant success driving the rapid growth of leading base metal and gold, open cut and underground mining operations, I had spent seven years supporting Evolution Mining grow from a foundation entity to a $5bn company included in the ASX100.
With a strong focus on driving operational excellence, I was able to consistently grow resource bases, ensure mining and metallurgical assets deliver to target, achieve optimal capability, reduce production costs and improve safety measures while continuing to deliver growth and extend mine life.
Nigel is an experienced underground mining engineer and has held previous roles as a Mines, Tunnels and Quarries Inspector for WorkSafe New Zealand and General Manager of the Reefton Gold Mine and Mining Manager of the Frasers Gold Mine, both located in New Zealand.
